Amnesty International have recently launched the campaign ‘Make Some Noise’.
The idea: Get well-known acts like the Black Eyed Peas & the Cure to do covers of John Lennon-songs. Sell the exclusive tracks on the Amnesty.org. Make tons of cash for human rights.
Berlin rappers The Puppetmastaz, the first puppet-group in the world of Rap, wanted to contribute & decided to record the Lennon-classic “Give Peace a Chance” – with the help of a class of primary-school-kids at Nelson Mandela School in Berlin.
I thought i pitch in my 5 cents & joined Mr. Maloke, Snuggles, Panic the Pig
and the other creatures to film the recording session. The kids loved the puppets & it turned out a very funny morning!
